Shane Hargest

Shane is from Perry Hall, MD, and has been expressing himself artistically for more than 20 years after an art teacher told him he’d be “well off painting, gave him a canvas and told him to have fun."

In the spring of 2023, he joined Make Studio, wanting to create, branch out and get more serious about his art practice. Very much at ease with all things abstract, Shane does not lose sight of his desire to also work representationally in the context of his unique ability by incorporating assistive techniques such as jigs.
