Gordon Feinblatt LLC is pleased to announce the sale of Special Operations Technology, Inc. (SOTECH), Zu Industries, Inc. and Bushido Communications LLC to Ultra Electronics Holdings plc (LSE: ULE), a British defense and aerospace company, for an aggregate sale price of $115M. The transaction closed December 2, 2011. Gordon Feinblatt served as sellers' legal counsel, and Aronson Capital Partners served as sellers' investment banker.

SOTECH provides surveillance technology, services and equipment in support of U.S. counterterrorism, counter-narcotic and law enforcement operations in Afghanistan and other foreign countries, while Zu and Bushido develop software and satellite communication systems that process, filter and transmit lawfully obtained communications data.

Washington Technology Magazine selected the SOTECH transaction as the "2011 Deal of the Year" in the Foreign Buyer category.
