Premier Lacrosse League Partners with STX
A new league started by the world's best lacrosse players, the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL), is launching June 1, 2019. Baltimore-based STX has partnered with PLL to be an equipment supplier for the PLL’s inaugural season. STX has been an industry leader and innovator since Richard B.C. Tucker, Sr. invented the synthetic lacrosse head (US Pat 3,507,495). Since then STX has become universally recognized for innovation in product design and development. The new partnership will showcase STX-sponsored athletes, including Kyle Harrison, Marcus Holman, Davey Emala and Will Manny. Harrison graduated from Johns Hopkins in 2005 and is Director of Player Relations for PLL. The PLL begins with six teams embarking on a 14-week season that concludes with a playoff and PLL championship game. Games will be played in different cities throughout the season, with Johns Hopkins’ Homewood Field hosting games on June 22nd-23rd. The PLL season will be distributed through an exclusive media-rights agreement with NBC Sports Group.
