Seminar for Physicians -- Ambulatory Surgery Centers: A Revenue Lifeboat
The Sheraton Baltimore North
Towson, Maryland
Wednesday, April 30, 2014
Ambulatory surgery centers are an increasingly important revenue source for surgeons, especially in today’s changing health care environment. On the one hand, doctors who want to stay independent will be drawn to additional and enhanced revenue sources, and on the other, ASCs fit squarely within the Triple Aim of providing the right care, at the right time, in the right place. Therefore, it is important for Maryland physicians to understand their options in regard to opening and improving their own ambulatory surgery centers.
If you attend this seminar, you will learn the answers to these and many more questions:
- What are the basics concerning the ACS Law?
- How do I comply with State and Federal Rules regarding establishing an ACS?
- What steps are involved with the CON exemption letter process?
- What do you need to know about AAAHC and other deemed status agencies?
- What does an insurance program designed around the specific needs of an ASC
look like and what is the associated cost for coverage? - How do I go about arranging the financing for a surgicenter and what information will I need to provide?
