Tonya R. Foley, Associate
Tonya is an Associate in our Employment, Financial Services, and Health Care practice groups.
She guides clients through a broad spectrum of employment matters, including complying with federal laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, and Title II and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act. Tonya also assists with state wage, leave, and anti-discrimination laws.
Her responsibilities extend to conducting independent sexual harassment and discrimination investigations; representing clients in Department of Labor Wage and Hour audits and labor arbitrations; and responding to Equal Employment Opportunity Commission charges.
Tonya also represents financial institutions in garnishment proceedings and provides contract review for employment and vendor contracts. She assists clients in responding to and complying with discovery requests.
Tonya is a U.S. Navy Veteran and volunteered as an ombudsman to train and mentor the military spouses of over 2,000 sailors.
Prior to joining Gordon Feinblatt, Tonya served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Hon. Jeffrey Geller of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City.
Tonya received her J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.
