Joseph Fried, Associate
Joseph is an Associate in our Trusts and Estates practice group and represents clients in estate planning, trust and estate administration, and tax advising. He has experience drafting and executing a wide range of estate planning documents, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, special needs trusts, generation-skipping trusts, and complex wills tailored to clients' unique family dynamics.
In addition to estate planning, he prepares Federal and Maryland estate tax returns, providing guidance on gift, income, and estate tax implications. Joseph also administers both taxable and non-taxable estates, reviewing legal documents such as wills, trusts, and prenuptial agreements, and ensuring compliance with probate procedures.
Joseph works closely with Certified Public Accountants to maintain compliance with tax requirements and manages all aspects of trust administration, including maintaining detailed financial records and preparing the necessary documents for life insurance trust beneficiaries.
Joseph is licensed to practice in the state of Maryland and the District of Columbia.
