Austin Klinger, Associate
Austin is an Associate in our Real Estate practice group.
Austin has represented both borrowers and lenders in drafting and preparing legal diligence for commercial and multi-family development projects exceeding $20 million. These transactions often involve private loans as well as government financing. He provided comprehensive legal services in complex real estate matters.
Austin played a key role in negotiating and drafting agreements between local governments and private businesses, securing real and property tax exemptions for long-term leases, such as those for solar energy facilities. In addition, Austin is experienced in a variety of transactional work, including lease preparation, contract review, zoning matters and PILOT agreements.
Prior to joining Gordon Feinblatt, Austin served as Judicial Intern and Law Clerk to the Honorable Melissa Phinn of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. In his role, he conducted extensive legal research, drafted decisions and orders, managed the trial calendar for all Circuit Court cases, and scheduled trials and other court proceedings. He also worked closely with attorneys, courtroom staff and judges daily.
Austin received his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law.
